The Sossego Waterfall, already posted here, is a relatively popular place near Lençóis, only two hours walking, by trail and inside the canyon, over the rocks. However the upper part of this waterfall is quite remote in a sense. The trail was naturally closed, for lack of people passing through.
Me and my girlfriend had the opportunity of going there twice in the last month. And I tell you, it's one of the most beautiful places I ever visited. Besides, is possible to link this trail with the one going to XXI Waterfall, which is also in an early post here in the blog.
So if you visit Lençóis, Bahia, Chapada Diamantina, don't miss some unusual trails, ideal for those who seek trekking in the wild side of Chapada and are already used to more demanding outdoor activities.
